Add up the tallies this brings us to 56. Thats right 56 Non confrence home wins. Duke turned this game against michigan into another rout with a 95-67 Victory, at home. For the fourth time in 9 games the Devils leading scorer has come from the bench, and 3 of those 4 times it has been Taylor King, coming off the bench to set a game high 18 points, with Nolan Smith coming a close second with 17 points. Former Michigan Coach and Duke Player Tommy Amaker, was replaced by new coach John Beilien this season, which likely came as a welcome reprieve, since Coach K. never enjoys playing against former players, he said “I don’t want to beat my son, I don’t want my son to beat me.”. After a 22 point lad in the second half Beilien was greated from the Duke fans with a chant of “Tommys Better!”. Duke will play their next game aginst Albany at Cameron Indoor. David

(#7) Duke Blue Devils V.S. Davidson Bobcats

Duke was kept on their toes this game with the Bobcats continually rallying back from double digit deficits. The final score of 79-73 Is the closest that the Devils have come to losing a game this season. Dukes Gerald Henderson, led the Athletically superior Blue Devils team to a victory however, after they had worn down the Bobcats. Greg Paulus capped off the victory with two key baskets and a beautiful steal, in the last two minutes. Dukes next game is against Michigan at Cameron indoor. David

(#7) Duke Blue Devils V.S. (#20) Wisconsin

This Game led to yet another Victory at Cameroon Indoor, bringing the tally to a still national best 55 non confrence home games. While the Wisconsin lineup had 3 players in rotation that were 6″10″ or taller, they did little to help as the Devils defence dominated them from the opening tip to the end of the game. With this victory (82-58) Duke managed to make their first legitimate test at home a blowout. Duke’s next game is against the Davidson Bobcats at the Bobcat arena in Charlotte, Nc.   David
